Thank you for reviewing Role Model Mentors (“Role Model Mentors”, “RMM,” “we,” “us” or “our”) privacy policy for our website located at (“Site”). This Privacy Policy also cover our services in general (“Service” or “Services”), and details certain policies implemented throughout RMM governing our collection and use of personally identifiable information from users of our Site and Services. In the event we offer an mobile application (“App”), this policy will apply to that App as well.

Information Collection and Use

Personally Identifiable Information We Collect:
You can visit our Site without having to submit any personally identifiable information. If you set up an account with us as a prospective mentor or use our site as an active mentor (Hereafter “Mentor” refers to a prospective mentor or an active mentor), we will collect your and your parent’s or legal guardian’s name, email address, password, cell phone number and address. We may collect other information as well. We may send Mentors and their parents or legal guardians emails and text messages, or call them for a variety of purposes related to our service. We may collect a variety of information and submissions from Mentors, which may include a profile photo, date of birth, anticipated graduation year, information on their grades, classes, extracurricular activities, awards, criminal or disciplinary record, citizenship, and any other information related to their qualifications for mentoring, and to support marketing and promoting them as a Mentor available through our service. To establish a payment method for future services rendered, we also collect bank account information or other information required to make payments to the Mentor. We also may require the Mentor to utilize one or more specific third party platforms for facilitating payments. We may require Mentors and/or their parents or legal guardians to set up an account with RMM using a unique username and password, in order to access specific content and/or submit content specifically associated with them.

If you set up an account for a Mentee/Student (“Mentee”) on the Site or Apps, the parent or legal guardian of the Mentee (“Client”) must set up the account. We will collect the Client’s name, email address, password, cell phone number and address, as well as name, grade, gender, extracurricular activities, academic profile, mentor preference, or any other information related to our services. We may send parents or legal guardians emails and/or text messages, or call them in order to facilitate their use of our service. We may also collect credit card or other information from you for the purpose of charging for our services.

We may also ask both Mentors and Clients for referrals, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other information for other parties who may be interested in our services as either as a Client or a Mentor.

We may collect geo-location data when you use our Site or App.

If you participate in a survey or post a review of our service, we may collect any personally identifiable information that you include in your submission or posting. If you contact us with questions or request information, we may collect your name, email address and any other personally identifiable information that you voluntarily transmit via your communications with us.

We may collect information with you based on your engagement with us in social media, search, and other aspects of the Internet. This may include liking, commenting or messaging us in social platforms, sharing our posts or others’ posts about us, using hash tags with our name or hash tags related to our business, searching for our name or terms related to our business, or filling out forms or other data capture devices that we may place in various places on the Internet.

Aggregate Information We Collect
Through certain third party analytic providers, and directly through our Site or App, we may track information that will be maintained, used and disclosed in aggregate form only and which will not contain your personally identifiable information.

Pay Mentors
Charge for our services via credit card, ACH, invoice or other method
Detect fraud, illegal activities or security breaches,
Verify your authority to use our Site or App, in order to provide access to or improve our content
Solicit persons that you have referred as being interested in our services
Promote and advertise our service to prospective Clients and Mentors
Other reasonable purposes related to our business in general, or specifically related to you as a Client or Mentor

Children’s Privacy

Role Model Mentors recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and legal guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. The Site and App are intended as a marketplace for Mentors who are at least age 14, to offer Mentoring services to Clients for their children. The Site and App are not directed for use by children under the age of 14. Role Model Mentors does not target this Site or App to children under 14. Role Model Mentors does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 14. We ask that parents and legal guardians register their children, as we do not intend for Mentees to use the Site or the App on their own. If you are under the age of 14, please do not provide us with any personally identifiable information.

Cookies and Online Tracking
Like most websites, we, may use cookies and tracking pixels to track Site usage and trends, evaluate the effectiveness of our ads, customize your experience on the Site and improve the quality of our Services. You can remove or block cookies using the settings in your browser, but in some cases doing so may impact your ability to use our site.

We use Google Analytics to measure Site usage and improve our visitor experience. The relevant data is provided to us by Google in the aggregate (i.e. individual users are not identified) and allows us to better understand our Site audience. The Google Analytics features we implement allow us to (i) evaluate and generate reports on certain demographic, behavioral, and interest metrics of users collected by Google, and (ii) to create advertising remarketing audiences and campaigns based on such metrics, which may be segmented into groups.

We may use social plugins on our Site and App, and may include icons that allow you to interact with third party social networks such as Facebook or Twitter. Your use of these social plugins is subject to the privacy policies of the third party social networks.

Customer Testimonials / Comments / Reviews
We post customer testimonials/comments/reviews on our Site, which may contain personally identifiable information. We obtain the customer's consent prior to posting the testimonial, authorizing us to post their name along with their testimonial. We may also repost or provide links to information from reviews made on Facebook, Yelp, Google, Yahoo, or other sites that may have personally identifiable information, without asking for consent. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to any company or organization, but we may transfer your personally identifiable information to a successor entity upon a merger, consolidation or other corporate reorganization in which Role Model Mentors participates, or to a purchaser or acquirer of all or a portion of our assets.

The Site and/or the Apps may provide links to other Websites or resources over which Role Model Mentors does not have control (“External Websites”). Such links do not constitute an endorsement by Role Model Mentors of those External Websites. You acknowledge that Role Model Mentors is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and further agree that Role Model Mentors is not responsible for the content of such External Websites. We may employ procedural and technological measures that are generally consistent with industry practice. Such measures are reasonably designed to help protect your personally identifiable information from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Role Model Mentors may use measures such as secure socket layer, password protection, authenticated tokens for payments and other internal restrictions. In the event we become aware of a confirmed breach of our security measures, we will notify those affected in a reasonable amount of time, as required by law.

Privacy Policy Updates
Role Model Mentors may need to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If so, we will post our updated Privacy Policy on our Site and in our App. We may or may not communicate Privacy Policy changes outside of the posting of the update itself. Role Model Mentors encourages you to review this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes. Your use of the Services after changes have been posted or notified acknowledges your agreement to the new Privacy Policy. Therefore, you should check the Privacy Policy periodically for updates and changes, and before submitting personally identifiable information. Your continued use of this Site, app and/or continued submission of personally identifiable information to us will be subject to the terms of the then-current Privacy Policy.

Users Outside of the United States
Our computer systems and third party hosting provider systems are currently based in the United States, so your personal data will be processed by us in the U.S., where data protection and privacy regulations may not offer the same level of protection as in other parts of the world, such as the European Union. At the present time our services are not offered outside of the U.S., and we recommend that you not use our Site or App, and do not submit any personally identifiable information if you reside outside of the United States. If you do live outside of the U.S. and choose to submit personally identifiable information, you will have no rights to privacy of any kind as you have done so in direct violation of our policy.
